The Story Behind Franktiques

What happens when decades worth of family treasures and knick-knacks just become too much for one couple? It’s time to find the perfect homes for everything that has been spending too much time packed away in boxes and bins.

 

Meet Toryn and Frank, the faces behind Franktiques.  

 

Like many people our age, we are dealing with the mindset of Boomer parents and older relatives who believed that their collections would be handed down forever, or that every household needs a set of “good China” for guests and holidays. Life has changed, and while many people still love to serve a fancy dinner on a well-set table, others are happy to have one everyday pattern for the rest of their life (hello, Pfaltzgraff Naturewood).  For us, it got to the point where we were bursting at the seams with so much “stuff’ that we actually needed to buy a bigger house.

 

Franktiques is our way of taking these items out of the attic and bringing them into the world. Is there someone out there who loves old carnival glass? We’ve got it. Fans of Howdy Doody? Come check out some of these old books my dad had in his collection.  What about some delicate cups and saucers to make your morning tea seem a little more special? Yes, we have them.
